Welcome to the Güipil Festival!
We invite you to join us for a day-long celebration of reading, writing, and the Latino culture through Güipil Books. Our free events are virtual and live, and we can’t wait to share it with you.
The festival, hosted by the Güipil Academy and Publishing House, will feature author panels, interviews, book reviews, virtual learning, and celebration.
As a registered participant, you’ll have the chance to win prizes and giveaways in each of our presentations.

Be a Part of the Güipil Festival Book Donation Program
Join us in spreading the joy of reading and positivity by donating books to the Guipil Festival! Here are the different book donation costs you can choose from:

– Copies for Individuals: Help us reach our goal of 200 copies of “Be Positive: Be Amazing”
– Available for individuals to claim by donating $4,000.
– You can also choose to donate one book a month for individuals at $20 for 12 months.

– For only $600, you can donate 30 books to each of the 10 public library branches in our community.
– Your gift of $50 a month for a year will go a long way in providing young readers access to the inspiring pages of “Be Positive: Be Amazing.”

– For a donation of $1,220 per school, you can gift 60 books to one of the visiting schools in the WSFCS system.
– Each participating elementary school will receive 50 copies of “Be Positive: Be Amazing” for parents and students, one copy for the school library, and 10 copies for teachers to claim.
– Donate $100 a month for a year to make a positive impact on young readers’ lives.
